Maternity Photoshoot... Embracing the new Me

Pregnancy.. all I had ever imagined just faded away in the overwhelming reality...

I didn't have an easy pregnancy.. but I told myself that I would enjoy this experience, because this time and experience will never come back. I enjoyed my pregnancy to the fullest. I fell in love with myself and my body.. I was astonished to grow a life inside me.. 

There is a saying mothers are like portal for souls to enter this world.. I thought that to be true and was excited for this experience.

As I share my experience, I am out of words to describe how I actually felt.. 

I clicked several pictures while I was pregnant.. to feel beautiful and to have this beautiful memory of my baby growing inside me...

Various creative ideas were used from different sources to make the pregnancy photoshoot as intresting as possible...

Look at the world

I wanted my baby to see the beautiful world, the sky, the trees, the people, the birds, the rain and so on... 

I had no idea what to do with my life and here came my baby with a purpose for me.. 

Elders blessed the baby good health and fortune.. she was perfect all along and everyone loved her from always..

I wore all the fancy dresses and make up now and then.. you made me feel beautiful.. 

Looking back, I didn't know how I knew it would be my angel.. and then I was blessed with my beautiful daughter as we always wanted...

Here's my husband.. our love was revived when you arrived

The movements in the belly is the most amazing experience... Starting from the flutter to few painful kicks.. it was all worth it.. 

Confidence and acceptance, all I needed for this photoshoot with you in my belly...

Painted myself with love, being creative and happening...

Searched the internet for belly art.. used eye liner to sketch and colours to paint... A successful copy

The greenery and the pose were perfect for the family photo... 

Indian outfit can never go wrong... Celebration of pregnancy..'Shaadh'... 

It was like a romantic movie.. I always felt special like the camera is always on me..

My companion is my strength... I was an experienced mother ... Dog parent to human parent... 

Use of my childhood props... Beautiful picture with beautiful memories...

Before I thought I am gonna go too big for my wardrobe.. I started getting my pictures clicked.. I properly started the photoshoot, a bit late, around 6 months.. I wished I didn't miss any months

We used every caption and all corners of the house to take pictures with you ..

She was always around and enjoyed the time I was with her as I took a break from work and was full time home...

I was conscious of the weight I put on him.. never left a chance to feel in love and for some PDA.. 

Simplicity and beauty can do wonders .. beauty of white...

Embracing the changes in the body and mind.. 

Looked into the eyes to see what kind of parent I chose for my little one.. and I am glad

Trying out various poses and involved my partner because may be everything in the pregnancy is not just about me..

My tummy was my baby's first home.. I felt she was the safest inside...

Already started dressing you up.. Celebrating weekly achievements... Getting ready for birth...

 

It was so much fun to feel the movements inside...

I was huge and I loved it... Linea Alba, the line across my belly...

I was amazed with the changes that occured on the pregnant body

The night before the delivery day.. all set for the grand arrival.. 

Before getting admitted to the hospital.. nervous and excited at the same time...

Just before the arrival... We were dancing around in joy of the expectation of meeting you...
